I had a very disappointing experience at this fish market. I purchased eight mackerel, and when I got home, I realized that two of them were clearly not fresh—the eyes were red and the flesh was very soft, which is a clear sign of poor quality.I returned to the store to politely request an exchange, especially because I have young children and did not want to risk their health. While one employee was kind and helpful, the owner’s behavior was completely unacceptable. She was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me with a very bad attitude. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she questioned why the fish had been cut and made me feel uncomfortable for simply asking for a reasonable solution.To make matters worse, she compared her business to Publix, which is known for its high standards and quality—something this place clearly does not meet. The products here are not fresh and appear to be mostly frozen with questionable quality.This was my first and last time shopping here. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh seafood or respectful customer service.

Amazing fresh fish and lobster, every time im in miami to visit family i pass by here and grab some fish to fry. Highly recommend.

When a paying customer tells you how their fish is to be cut, you make sure that’s what the customer gets. Not here! Here the people cutting the fish do not follow instructions and then have the nerve to ask for a tip. With so many fish markets in South Florida luckily yours won’t be the one I go to again.
